The Salerno family counts two generations of farmers, olive growers, and grape growers, who cultivate about 30 hectares of land in Macchia di Montecorvino Rovella 150 meters above sea level on the hills of Salerno, between the sea and the Sele lowlands. In 2006 we ventured on a new wine project with Giusy, Francesca and their father, Annibale. The project called for the conversion of five hectares of Barbera and Malvasia into Aglianico and Fiano, which were cultivated in the area at one time. In 2011 we obtained our organic certification, another important step on the road towards organic farming, which is based on respect for the land, for manual labor, and for the end consumer. Presently, the farm manages their vineyards using biodynamic methods.
